Mission of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Undocumented Students/ DREAMers

Undocumented students in Washington state have the right to attend colleges and universities. Many qualify for state-funded financial aid because of the Washington Dream Act, also called the The Real Hope Act which was signed into law in 2014.

Safe Zone Training at Lower Columbia College

The Safe Zone Project offers visible support for LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty. It provides training to help the campus community understand challenges faced by people of diverse genders and sexualities and learn effective ways to create a more inclusive environment.
